Björn Weber has been specialising as journalist, editor, analyst and consultant in the retail and consumer goods industries for more than 20 years. The focus of his expertise is on retail technology, supplier collaboration (ECR), logistics, e-commerce and digital transformation of the industry.
For eight years, Björn Weber was editor for IT and logistics at Lebensmittel Zeitung (LZ), the leading German newspaper for the retail and FMCG industry. From January 2015 until March 2019, he ran LZ Retailytics, the international analyst group of LZ.
Until end of 2014, Björn Weber was Research Director Retail Technology as well as a member of the Executive Board of the London-based analyst group Planet Retail. He also was the company’s General Manager for Germany.
Björn Weber is a jury member of the EHI Retail Technology Award (Reta Europe). He was honoured with the Karl-Theodor-Vogel award for outstanding reports on technology topics.
He is a regular keynote speaker at international industry events such as those of NRF, EHI and the Consumer Goods Forum with a focus on digitalisation, omnichannel strategies and the optimisation of retail processes through technology.

Joachim Pinhammer’s whole professional biography is connected to retail. He specialises in retail technology, in-store processes, payment systems, logistics and the digitalisation of the retail industry.
As a retail expert, Joachim Pinhammer supports retail and technology companies with consulting and marketing expertise. He is a regular speaker and moderator at events organised by Messe Düsseldorf (EuroShop and EuroCIS), the EHI and further industry conferences in Germany and abroad. His reports are regularly published by trade magazines and online retail industry media.

Until 2018, Joachim Pinhammer was Senior Analyst and Research Director Retail Technology at the London-based analyst group Planet Retail. Until 2010 he was the global marketing director for the retail division of Wincor Nixdorf (now Diebold Nixdorf).
After graduating from high school Joachim Pinhammer began a dual training programme at the department store retailer Karstadt in Essen graduating asa commercial assistant. He completed training as an instructorat the IHK Essen. In 1998 he graduated from from Babson College Wellesley, MA in the US with a diploma in the Entrepreneurial Development Program there.
Géraldine Lalanne is Communication Consultant, responsible for the French market within the Fourspot team. She maintains relationships with French retail organisations and trade media from France.
Géraldine has been working as a French translator, specialising in retail, e-commerce, IT and marketing for more than 15 years. Thanks to her strong communication and creative writing skills, she helps Fourspot and its clients reach their target audiences in France, always keeping an eye on new market trends and technologies in the retail industry.
